Winery review: Opens
with mellow peach and melon aromas and some oak. The palate is round,
creamy and full. Tastes of spiced, dried apple with a stalky, pithÒy
accent. -Winemaker's Notes
My Review: I really enjoyed this wine. Most intriguing about this wine was the mouth feel it truly was creamy and buttery, it was definitely aged in oak. I enjoyed the big flavors of peach and apple that came through. The smell was sweet, but not overly sweet and the oak was a very forward aroma. I tried this wine without food but would like to try it with something creamy like cheese, particularly brie.
